Positive: We loved the central location and amenities on the doorstep. The coast and Weymouth were only about 40 mins drive (very direct from Sherborne to Weymouth via Dorchester). Local sightseeing was very impressive with the Castle and the Abbey. The hosts local recommendations of the Plume of Feathers and Tamborino Gold are EXCEPTIONALLY good places to eat and drink. The Plume has a lovely enclosed patio garden area.
Negative: Nothing, the property gave us a very comfortable base to explore the area.

Positive: A very comfortable flat in a great location. It is within easy walking distance of the castle and the abbey, plus plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and pubs. Very little traffic on the road which meant it was quiet. The long stay parking was nearby and there was space on the road outside to unload/load.

Positive: Easily the best equipped holiday cottage we've ever stayed in. The best compliment I can give is that it felt lovely and homely, without giving you the feeling that you were in someone else's space. It is beautifully curated and is in a superb location for the local restaurants and pubs / town centre etc. Would give 6 stars if it was possible.
