Positive: Located on tiny street of lovely Birgu in a very old building just around the corner from a great square with cafes. Perfect. Very quiet apart from church bells and the odd car coming past. Close to everything you want to visit.

Negative: On the first night we were eaten alive by mosquitoes. Our fault as we had opened windows before turning off the light.

Positive: I booked the place completely by chance and it turned out we were at one of the top locations. I was with my child, and I will never regret this choice – our stay was amazing. A big plus was that we found the place very easily and arrived early in the city. We were kindly allowed to leave our backpacks and luggage in the living room of the accommodation, which gave us the chance to enjoy the rest of the day stress-free. Positive: Very good location with frequent buses to la Valletta, interesting old house in the centre of the historical heart of the region, sufficient equipment of the flat and the kitchenette, perfect connection to wi-fi, very good communication with the owners.

Negative: We had everything that we needed, only missed a knife for cutting in the kitchenette.

Positive: Birgu n.17 has an optimal position, nearby the boat that takes to Valletta and not so far from the airport. The communication with the host was great, I had some small issues with the hot water and the internet connexion and they helped me fix them right away. Overall, the place was clean and the window opens in a very narrow and quiet street.

Negative: The bed sheets were not optimal (some small holes); I did not mind the shower in the bedroom but for the wc you need the key for opening the other door and it is not very practical.
