Positive: Amazing resort with wonderful staff and so relaxing - best holiday ever! Used the tennis court, the main pool as well as our private pool - lovely!

Negative: A large group in the main pool were annoying and loud, but that’s the luck of the draw!

Positive: We were very impressed with the villa and gardens. The plunge pool was private and relaxing, adding that luxury quality to the open balinese vibe of the accommodation. Everything for a comfortable stay is included from washing machine, dryer to bbq. Staff were attentive and friendly. Looking forward to our next stay there.

Negative: Really nothing major to complain about. A little magnified mirror with a light might be a good addition to the bathrooms, we found the light too low (for applying make up or shaving etc). The fountain just inside our front gate is loud at night. Perhaps the fountain pressure could adjusted or turned off after 10.00.

Summary: Relaxing, private and although a resort had an intimate, lux vibe.

Positive: The restaurant is adequate. The communal pool is awesome. The villa private pool was heated and great.

Negative: Villa 73, was very nice, but needs maintenance. It's looking a bit tired and outdated. It needs a few dollars spent on it to keep up with the others. Don't get me wrong, it was great, but for the cost of the rental it should have been better. The other couple we visited seemed fresher.

Summary: Lovely staff. The lush grounds are beautiful. The water bill must be phenomenal!

Positive: We loved the design and the tranquility of the place. It was very comfortable and well stocked. Our private villa combined with luxury hotel facilities, like spa, big pool and restaurant, was ideal! An extra bonus: the hotel is near a kitesurfing and wing foiling beach, which we used a lot!

Negative: The location is not walking distance to the centre of Port Douglas, one have to drive or order a shuttle bus. It was all right for us but might not be ideal for some travellers.

Negative: No room service! We had to call to get towels and they don’t bring them instantly- we would have to wait hours until the afternoon.
