Summary: The hotel was the only nice thing about Essen. The area was extremely unsafe and didn’t feel comfortable walking around. Had homeless people approach us- and a Sunday night fight on the street that lead to about 10 police cars! Didn’t feel like Germany at all Felt more like an area for middle eastern immigrants. Hotel was really nice though :)

Summary: Quick stop over travelling through Germany. Hotel was cheap and good quality. Small complaint that there was fruit peel under the bed. I stood in it. Other than that super convenient and fast. All we wanted.
