Positive: It was our first time visiting Quito. The facilities and staff were great! We loved the breakfast buffet and having coffee and tea available in our room. We live in Cuenca and hope to stay there again.

Negative: The dinner in the restaurant was just OK, the meats were a bit overcooked.

Positive: Huge room with good hot water and very clean. Breakfast was beautiful. Lovely fresh fruits and veggies. A wall of breads. Good coffee and juice. But no eggs. There was a curry and other protein sources, but I wanted eggs.

Negative: The place is lovely. My ONLY real issue is that the gentleman who checked me in looked at me as though I didn't measure up and didn't belong there. And he talked down to me. He commented negatively that I had "booked through Booking.com." It's a nice hotel, but that was unnecessary and disappointing.

Summary: Guess I wasn't what they wanted in a guest.

Positive: Hotel is an older property that needs renovation. Staff helpful and nice. Breakfast provided was fair, omelette station was a joke. Room was decent sized but lighting was NOT adequate. Unfortunately the bathtub was one of those high stepup older tubs. HOWEVER, GREAT SHOWER HEADS (2) AND PRESSURE. There was a normal (not a stupid rainshower) shower head with massage, etc., and one of those hand held ones that you can move around which was great. Shower pressure best I have had in a hotel in years. You actually feel clean. Windows Do Not filter out the street noise.

Negative: Omelette Station, Older Windows that do not filter street noise. Lighting in the room was inadequate. High step bathtub.

Summary: Older, ok property in need of certain renovations.
