Summary: This is a wonderful place to stay!! We will stay here again. On Friday the day we arrived, we had a bit of an adventure. Google map took us to, a gravel path. No big deal we thought, we come out 4-wheelen every year. We stay all over the hills and have had many adventure's. Googles adventure took us to, Old Battle Ax RD/Newton LOL ( DO NOT TAKE IT ) keep going on the highway to Newton Fork and go left. Please stay here, many deer, turkey and we got lucky and saw a heard of Elk. Hope this helps. Safe travels and have a wonderful day!!!!

Summary: Guest book was very intersting. A group checked out the day we checked in. The door lock was not updated with our code ( no cellular service out there so had do drive back into hill city to call for help).

Summary: Quiet, secluded, clean property outside of Hill City. Two of the bedrooms are accessed from the garage, so our party with small children didn’t use them. Clean new property with plenty of parking. Private and quiet. Lots of stairs!

Summary: Very nice secluded home off the beaten path. Was close to ATV trails is what we spent 4 days doing in this beautiful area. House had lots of stairs, which was fine for us, but maybe not for everybody.

Summary: This was a beautiful home with four large bedrooms (two accessed through the garage, but very clean and easy to get to) plus a large loft all with queen beds. Kitchen was fully stocked except there were no kitchen garbage bags, so we bought a box and left what we didn’t use😊 There were cards and games and a garage fridge, large garage TV and table for meals and games. There were two beautiful, large decks for morning coffee or evening meals. My only complaint is that the emailed directions mimicked the error on Google Maps that tried to take us down a road that didn’t access the property. The correct turn off was actually 3 miles further down Deerfield Rd. Otherwise this was a lovely family trip!

Summary: Such a beautiful property and scenery. So peaceful and loved the wildlife that would come around. The house was very comfortable, clean, and so pretty inside. Property provides lots of games to play for entertainment. We had such a great time here. Didn’t want to leave on checkout day. Check in process was so easy. There is nothing I would change about this place. Loved it and will definitely be staying here every time we come out to this area.

Summary: Nice house, comfy beds, great location for Atv riding. Lots of deer and turkeys wander through the yard and it is very quiet. Lighting in the house could be brighter. We would stay here again

Summary: This property is amazing! It was clean and had everything we needed there. Beds are so comfortable. Loved relaxing on the decks enjoying the views and wildlife. We had absolutely no complaints of our stay here and decided to make this a yearly event at the Newton Hideaway. This property is beautifully done and they thought of everything to make it a comfortable place. I’d give it ten stars if I could. Thank you for the ease of checking in and out! Had to contact a staff member during our stay and she was very friendly and helpful.

Summary: The home lies in a picturesque valley of the Black Hills, this home was perfect...a very clean and well maintained property.
