Positive: The location was excellent for exploring the beautiful Villages and countryside in the area and the owners were very welcoming.

Negative: We had people in the adjoining room who liked to get up, make coffee and shower at 6.00 which was annoying as they were quite noisy and we were there for a relaxing break. I would like to point out that this was no fault of the owners.

Summary: We would definitely return.

Positive: Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast

Negative: As the property offers a pool which implies inclusive in the cost, it should be stated prior to arrival that a donation is expected to use it. A fixed price should be stated as it’s ambiguous. We didn’t want to use the pool but would have felt it unacceptable to find out only on arrival that you had to pay for it.

Positive: Brekfast very good.poilite.and helpful gave us somewere to go for eveng meal..wich was brillent.Beds comfy.GReat nighs sleep.

Negative: Bath room cabinet mirrow to high except for 6ft people. Stool in bedroom mirrow to low to see in mirrow.

Positive: We normally book apartments or hotels, so bed and breakfast was a bit different for us. Newmans Hall was quaint and quite old fashioned, but in a good way. The beds were very comfy and the room had a lovely view of the garden. The bathroom had a lovely big bath and there were dressing gowns for use as it wasn't ensuite but next door, although for sole use. There was lots of choice for breakfast and plenty of it.

Positive: Very hospitable hosts, who had thought of everything. The room was very comfortable, contained fresh milk in the fridge, a wide range of hot drinks and biscuits. We slept incredibly well. Our breakfast was outstanding, thank you Louise. A wide range of cereals, including gluten free choices, and a lovely cooked breakfast with gorgeous seeded bread and butter. We would definitely stay at Newmans Hall again and would recommend it to anyone wanting a B&B with a personal touch.

Positive: Clean room with good facilities and lovely bathroom. Excellent breakfast in nice setting with garden view.

Negative: The lack of an excellent rating is due to the fact the heating seemed to be on all night which made the room very hot (even though heaters turned off) and the noise of the heating greatly affected my sleep.
