This charming vacation rental in Bailey’s Harbor has been enjoyed by our family for over 40 years and is now being offered to your family. The house was recently renovated with modern amenities, such as a Viking stove, while still keeping its rustic touch with its old rock fireplace from the 1800’s.This property is located on the corner lot of North Bay with over 250 feet of shoreline. Watch gorgeous sunrises on the dock or deck in the morning or sit under the stars near the fire pit at night. House contains 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and even a 2 story playhouse. Our property is close enough to Gordon’s Lodge to kayak over for a quick snack or cherry margarita at Top Deck. It is centrally located 10 minutes in either direction to downtown Bailey’s Harbor to visit the famous Door County Brewing Company, Ephraim for ice cream at Wilson’s, or even Sister’s Bay to have some Swedish pancakes at Al Johnson’s while watching the goats on the roof. Property is secluded on over 20 acres of land to swim, kayak, bike, paddle board, raft, play bags, hunt or fish. It is biking distance to Cana Island lighthouse and the Ridges Sanctuary to hike one of their beautiful nature trails. There are tons of games, books and activities for guests of all ages to enjoy here.

Summary: Such a great home with everything you will need. Very clean, awesome view of the lake. The outdoor table and chairs are a great way to enjoy the view with breakfast. We had a great stay! Will definitely be back next year!

Summary: We've been coming to DC in September for 10+ years. This cabin is truly has a home feeling. Great layout, very comfortable beds and good privacy! That's hard to find. Good location - easy and quick ride to almost anywhere. Our dog, Lucy, loved the large yard. We loved watching the sunset by the water/fire pit.

Summary: The place was beautiful. It was quite spacious and plenty of room for a large group of people. The house felt like a home not a cottage. It was very centrally located. Very nice yard with a swing set for the kids. We would definitely go back! Thank you for a lovely experience.

Summary: The house is larger than it looks online and is very well maintained. It's in an extremely quiet location so if you're looking to get away from the noise this place is perfect. The bay the house is located on is very calm and relaxing too. It's also in a "dark skies" area so if seeing stars is on your to-do list stay here.

Summary: Cozy, clean, and great location. We had a wonderful time. The home was beautiful and plenty of space for 3 couples to relax comfortably. Our dogs loved being so close to the water and swimming! Only downside is the listing indicated 3 bathrooms but there were actually only 2 bathrooms, which wasn't ideal as we intended each couple to have their own restroom. I recommend the listing be corrected to reflect the accurate number of bathrooms. This was our only complaint, everything else was wonderful. We would definitely rebook.

Summary: Beautiful home on private, quiet lake front property. Close to many of the Door Co. activities yet off the beaten path. Well furnished and comfortable 3 bed room home with gas fireplace and large deck. Hope to return again next year.

Summary: Our family of 5 had a lovely time at this home. Great location right on the water surrounded by woods. The home was plenty big for our family. Nice kitchen and sun room. We loved the big yard, swing set and fire pit. Enjoyed s'mores, star gazing, bike riding at Peninsula State Park, hiking at Cave Point Park and outdoor dining at Island Fever Rum Bar and Grill. All in all a great place and a great location. We'd recommend North Bay!

Summary: Perfect setup for three sets of couples looking to get away for a long weekend. The fire pit along with the crashing waves gave a peaceful atmosphere. Kitchen was completely stocked giving us the opportunity to enjoy some of the great local farms. Highly recommend. Well water was a turn off for some of our crew, but some bottled water cured that easily enough.
