Summary: Excellent property in an excellent spot. very convenient and had everything we needed.

Summary: This is a very nice place to stay but it has some difficulties. There are high "windows" between all the rooms at the ceiling level, including the kitchen/living area, which has the bedroom on the other side. If you and your significant other don't go to bed at the same time the bedroom is completely lit up so bring your sleep mask. Additionally the kitchen has blinds which do not block out the light so when morning arrives, the bedroom is lit up. Basically, if you're looking for a nice dark bedroom--it's not here. Additionally, the bathroom has glass in the walls at the ceiling and it lights up the bedroom for the other person sleeping. A very pretty design but it doesn't make sense if you're staying there. This space is above a restaurant and I experienced VERY PUNGENT cooking odors at 6am, which was very unpleasant to me. The exhaust fan is just on the other side of the wall and the smell is very strong. The listing says it has A/C however upon checking into the property the owner has a note on the wall and has asked that you only use it for 2 hours which seems unfair. Either it has A/C or it doesn't. The owner is very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Summary: Beautiful, freshly renovated suite in pretty little Ladysmith with all that this town has to offer right outside your door. Pristine suite with just the right space for two. Lots of attention to detail throughout the suite and very well equipped. Top of the list has to be the amazing communication with the owner (Karen), who was always just a quick text or call away. All this at what I would consider to be the best overall value on Vancouver Island! Ladysmith proved to be a great base to tour other more remote regions of the island without having to reposition. While there you must eat at Karen’s Restaurant... Plantitude, Vegan Focused, but every tasted great to this meat eater.

Summary: Updated, nicely decorated, main street location, friendly hostess. It’s unfortunate that we found fine pet hair throughout unit, until our last day…and that the main street location sounds great, but was mostly noisy during early morning hours. Outside security door slams loudly. But Karen is a lovely, friendly hostess and did her best to accommodate us. We loved ladysmith, the food and people are wonderful!

Summary: Karen is so very helpful and attentive to ensure your stay is amazing. The apartment is so very modern and the attention to detail from bedroom pillow top bed to all the extra towels with greatly impress anyone. This is a must stay and a must return too.
