Welcome to Summer Haus! Whether you're coming to Smith Lake to play or relax and take in the beautiful view, this stunning 5-bedroom home has plenty to offer. Only 8 minutes from I65 Good Hope exit 305 and 12 minutes to shopping and dining.
With 5 bedrooms, two living areas, a large deck, covered patio, firepit area, and its own PRIVATE dock complete with swim platform, water slide, Ski Doo Dock, and two available boat slips, you'll have all that you need for a little R and R on the water. The home was updated with all new furniture / mattresses / linens in fall of 2022-2023 and sleeps 16 in beds. Our home has a double garage and paved driveway which can easily accommodate 5 cars with additional parking across the street.
A fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, a stocked coffee/wine bar, and gas grill located on the upper deck allows for large family meals with dining room seating, bar seating, and an eat-in kitchen table. 4 smart TVs (including 2 75" monsters!) are in the home ready for any of your streaming services. Come in and cool off in the game room with large screen TV, lighted dart board, and a foosball table. Enjoy plenty of outdoor seating on both levels as well as a patio dining set on the dock.
Don't forget to rent a boat as soon as you book!
Minimum age to book - 25 years old (Photo ID required prior to check in). NO SMOKING. NO PETS (unauthorized pet fee applies). There are 4 operational security cameras located at the front and back entrances of the home. The cameras are facing the driveway and outdoor stairs and are actively recording video, not audio, 24/7 during your stay. The cameras are not monitored. There are no cameras inside the home, nor do they point to inside the home. We take your safety as well as your privacy very seriously.

Summary: The property was wonderful. Everything was exactly as described. Rooms beautifully appointed. Kitchen fully equipped. Owners certainly thought of every detail. They even stacked the firewood in the firepit and provided the ingredients for smores. Great family vacation!

Summary: Our host, amenities, and accommodations were over the top. I would HIGHLY recommend this rental. We had a group of 14 from adult to 8 years old. The rental is large enough for the kids and adults to enjoy their own space. And let's don't forget the waterfront. We enjoyed floating just off the pier in the backyard. Granted, there are a few steps down to the pier but, from our excursions, that is the norm at Smith Lake. We rented a boat from Cappy's. The whole experience was great.

Summary: Group of 12 girl friends had a wonderful time at this beautiful lake house! Our host was a great communicator answering messages very quickly and kindly. The water slide and deck were a hit for our crew. We especially loved the fire pit area, perfect for s’mores! We would come back to this house again and again!

Summary: 10 out of 10!!!! The description is 100% accurate plus added perks! Beach towels supplied, dishes and cookware provided, complimentary snack basket upon arrival and complimentary coffee/wine! We have young kids to teens to adults and this place was awesome for housing us and all our interests! Homeowners were very responsive and helpful! I would recommend this property to anyone!! Wonderful family trip!!

Summary: Our group consisted of ages 2-50, and everyone had a blast. From the house itself, to the helpful host, everything was wonderful. Our host went above and beyond to include all sorts of small items that make a huge impact when you’re all settled and don’t want to leave. The house was stocked with coffee, Tide pods, dish detergent, lotion, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, etc., because someone always forgets something. The rooms were clean and we had ample space — no one was every cramped here. We did need some additional kitchen items, like a wet measuring cup and a griddle - but overall, this was the best lake house. The split floor plan allowed our kids to have their own space and the adults to have some quiet upstairs. Finally, the slide was a huge HIT! We all went down it multiple times! We would love to come back here!
