Positive: We stayed at New World Hotel for six nights in October, 2025 (plus one in November, 2025). The hotel is located in an amazing location, a short stroll to the Temple of Heaven and in walking distance to Tiananmen square, Forbidden city, Qianmen and Wangfujing Streets. The hotel is modern spacious and offers a superb breakfast of Chinese and western options. Staff was helpful with good English and concierge had some excellent suggestions for restaurants in the area. Hotel offered us an upgrade on the room so it was a lovely spacious area, with great amenities, an espresso coffee maker but a bit of a hard mattress. Before departing from China we spent another night at Beijing so we decided to stay again at New World Hotel. And we were very appreciative as they let us check out late to catch an international evening flight. All in all it was a great experience.

Negative: Although I had a Genius breakfast offered with the booking of the room it was not granted.

Positive: Very nice and large room, well equipped, beautiful design.

Negative: The swimming pool was closed for maintenance. This wasn't informed otherwise would have chosen another place to stay, since this was one the criteria to go to this hotel. Very poor internet access. Was so slow that it was impossible to work and/or just get info on Beijing. Not what you'd expect from an hotel of this standard.

Summary: Beautiful hotel. Too bad the wifi and the closed swimming pool
