Summary: We stayed here from 9th to 21st September 2024. My husband, myself and our Westie. Our son joined us for one week, in the middle, to celebrate his birthday. The peace and quiet around the villa was just what we needed to relax and refresh. The villa has everything you need to 'make yourself at home'. The pool was very slightly heated whilst we were there which made it perfect for taking a dip when the sun became too warm. There is a boules court, as well as a barbecue, both of which we used. Both bedrooms are fitted with excellent air conditioning units. The villa itself is a little way away (only a few minutes drive) from the main shopping area of Roquebrune-sur-Argens. We made a few trips out whilst there. We went to St Tropez, Cannes, Nice and Monaco. The furthest was roughly an hour and half drive away from the villa. A few small things to note: Although dogs under 10kg are welcome they are not permitted in the pool. We weren't aware of this until the owner left us a note a couple of days into our stay. We would check this when booking a villa in the future. The WIFI is very patchy. The downstairs bathroom did have a smell to it, we're guessing from the septic tank. We made sure the doors connected to this room were opened every morning to mitigate this. We were bitten quite a bit in the evening and whilst sleeping by mosquitos. We found the maximum strength 'Jungle Formula' spray worked well to keep this at bay. All in all we would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Summary: We visited this wonderful property in July (myself, husband, daughter age 10, son age 6). It was perfect for us! All the small niggles have been dealt with. The pool was the perfect temperature. There was air conditioning in the two bedrooms and the rest of the property didn’t need it. The garden/outside area was beautiful. We are looking to go back again next summer!

Summary: My family and I spent a week in this lovely quiet house and enjoyed every minute of it. It is beautifully decorated and clean and the garden and pool is very nice. The owners live on the same plot but apart from check-in and check-out we didn't see or hear them. Gaby welcomed us with a bottle of wine, juice, water and milk in the fridge which was very sweet, communication with her was nice and easy. If we weren't enjoying the pool or the boules court we went to visit St. Tropez, Sainte Maxime, Frejus, Cannes and Nice, all within a maximum one-hour drive, so it's the perfect location to see all those towns. The nearest supermarket and boulangerie is just a 5 minute drive away. We would definitely like to come back to this lovely property.

Summary: This property is exactly how you think it’s going to be. The house is amazing and was spotless. There was a fan there for us to use and we’d bought our own with us also so I think it made a real difference to the test at nighttime. The area was breezy in the afternoons which was perfect for cooling off. The pool is a really good size and was clean and modern, the addition of the fake grass and was a lovely touch and meant there were t so many bugs and the pool kept relatively clean throughout our 2 week stay. The only down side for us was the the pool wasn’t very warm. It didn’t get any warmer than 26c and after a couple of grey days and some rain it went down to 24c which was really cold. On really hot days that was bliss but fur the children a little too cold. I am already missing sitting under the olive trees and would definitely book again.

Summary: This house is exactly as pictured. We spent a nice holiday week in a safe and quiet area. Check-in is handled by a neighbor next door. Communication was easy. Only point for improvement would be that one needs to bring basic household items like soap, garbage bags, spices, hairdryer etc. As well as the fact that there is no wifi and bbq equipment as others noted. I would recommend the host to provide these to elevate the experience even further. All in all 5/5 thanks to Cathy!
