Newly constructed cottage tucked away on the mountainside, yet only 5 miles to downtown Cookeville. Location is convenient to parks, hiking, waterfalls, shopping, and dining.
Nestled on Buck Mountain is this new modern luxury cottage that features floor-to-ceiling windows to frame the views. The private master bedroom is on the main level with a queen bed and access to the wrap around deck. Two tiled bathrooms, one of which features a jetted whirlpool tub with Roku TV. The loft area has a king bed, a twin bed, and a desk. The loft is accessible by a ship ladder and may not be suitable for the elderly or small children. It doesn’t have a private door, but does have a gate. Kitchen has all essentials. Dine inside or outside on the spacious deck where you can enjoy the mountainous views, sunrises and sunsets, and starry nights. Cozy fire pit out back.

Summary: This was a fantastic rental that fulfilled our needs. A friend and I needed a place to rent for a weekend near Cookeville, and these accommodations were perfect. The place accommodated us, but it would also work very well for a couple or a small family. This place was above and beyond anything we would expect from a hotel, and we hope to use it again. Algood and Cookeville proper are just a few minutes' drive away, but it was very quiet and peaceful.

Summary: The cottage was clean, with beautiful views of the outdoors. I truly enjoyed the peace, quiet, and comfort of the stay.
