Summary: Lovely people that run the hotel..made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in with our spaniel..room was very cosy..breakfast was amazing..lots to choose from including a full English..location perfect for tissington trail..definitely going to book again...

Summary: An adequate base for a visit to Ashbourne and beyond into Derbyshire. A bit tired and dated, but provides everything you need. No view, only one small window over the kitchen sink, facing the courtyard car park and road beyond. Other windows are skylights.Be prepared for the farmyard smells, cattle sheds are immediately behind. We'd use again for a short break,but nothing longer.
