Positive: Modern cosy, clean apartment in a lovely quiet village. The crisps and nuts was a nice treat and the information book with leaflets of local attractions was really helpful.

Negative: We really enjoyed our stay. The only grumble I have is the mattress was too soft. I have a bad back so it was far too soft for me.

Negative: I think the village could do with a small shop selling newspapers, but if the villagers are happy with the current situation, so be it.

Positive: We had a great stay at the New Inn Apartment. It was a 30-minute drive into York but situated in a countryside location. The food at the New Inn was delicious and well worth trying if you do stay here. Owners of the pub (and apartment) were very welcoming. On the days the pub was busier, we noticed this on a Friday, noise could be heard from downstairs, but this stopped no later than 9:30pm. Having a car was essential to getting about but the Park and Ride option was useful for visiting York and certainly much cheaper, although the Priory Street car park (only 10 spaces) was the cheapest in town and had spaces if you got there early enough. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend staying here for anyone who wants peace and quiet but still wants to be near(ish) York and all of its attractions.

Positive: Everything it was a beautiful place to stay so clean and fresh lovely surprise when opened the door there was a christmas tree lit up in the living room . Great location for York . Pub was great and served lovely meals . Thank you for enjoyable 3 days didn't want to leave .

Positive: The property was well equipped, clean and tidy. It was lovely and warm when we arrived. The bed was very comfortable.

Negative: There was a slightly musty smell in the bathroom. Otherwise everything was very good.
