Positive: The location is very central. The place is cosy and very clean.

Negative: I don't suggest this place for anyone who doesn't speak German and/or have a German phone number. It was a matter of a miracle that I could enter the pension and my room. If the only couple who stayed there wouldn't come and call the host, I'd lose 160 euros as I should find a different place. For the entry code you have to call a number, but the calls went to voicemail. I left a desperate message then I even wrote an email. But I had zero feedback. When the other guests finally reached the contact person (their call also went to voicemail, but they were called back immediately...) it turned out she doesn't speak much English. Which is fine, but then send the needed code online. As there's no reception this was very stressful. Besides this the single room was next to the dining area (that I didn't know if I could use it for casual eating). And even though I didn't order breakfast, I was accommodated there. So I woke up at 8am because you can hear everything from the dining room. I was extremely tired and I paid only such a high amount for a place as I really needed a long sleep. The last odd thing was that at 1pm an older man entered my room. Without knocking! I was just having a shower, so I was in shock, grabbing a towel. He apologized. But I have no clue why he entered, as I booked the room for two nights and I highly doubt he'd change the towels after one night. The lack of knocking was shocking. Besides this I believe the owners are trying their best. But I found the place a bit odd. And I still don't know if it was ok that I used some cutleries or the cattle in the common area.
