Positive: Beautiful property and facility with a lovey view. The lobby had really nice decor (with nice Christmas trees and decorations up during our stay in November). The breakfast was outstanding in every way, with great variety and quality of food. The indoor pool was nice, especially in November, when the sea and outdoor pool were a little too cool. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional.

Negative: The garden view room was quite small. The shower didn’t drain very well.

Summary: We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Positive: We stayed for 5 nights-half board option.At breakfast there was a good variety of fruit and vegetables,bread and pastry,mixture of continental and English traditional breakfast ,tea,coffee,fresh orange etc all at very good quality,at dinner there was a wide variety of dishes and drinks,all very delicious and well presented.Pool bar was handy during day while at the beach which was 20 meters away from our room(see view)Very clean and nice beach front,outdoor and indoor pool were clean and presentable.We used the gym and tennis court which were as described on the website.Comfortable beds immaculate rooms.Staff were very polite and especially Edmond who was extremely helpful and always willing to help with luggage handling,local area advice.Nice ,quiet and beautiful area to visit.Would definitely recommend Negroponte to friends and family.We felt that the hotel is a luxurious place to stay.

Negative: In the gym one of the treadmills was not functioning.Bathrooms needs refreshing.The temperature of the Indoor pool water was not warm so we did not use it.Could do with a updated table for the tennis.

Positive: The staff was nice and the hotel is lovely, beautiful with excellent breakfast and good comfortable beds

Negative: 1) price discrimination is a common practice, I get that, but if you (the hotel) realize you sold two members of the same family a room for the same price and for one of them you have half board and the other only B&B, it's annoying when you try to up sale the ones you screwed up to buy the half board too, that's what happens to us and made the atmosphere negative towards the hotel. 2) the pool isn't really heated enough and although the room has air conditioning in it, when we asked the receptionist to help improve the heating there, she insisted it's hot enough without even coming to look, very disappointed... 3) The bathroom in the room has a steel stopper for the door that's drilled to the ground, I wounded my leg stepping on it as it's kind of sharp, could have chosen a safer solution for that. 4) our room was not accessible for strollers and we had to lift it by hand in the stairs, I'd recommend people with disabilities not to come or check they get an accessible room before booking, we asked and they said it's not possible to change, probably most rooms aren't accessible.

Positive: Outdoor pool is nice but too cold at this time of year.

Negative: Very loud music in the evening for entertainment, hence cannot sleep. Kid’s club used by a group so not available for other hotel guests. Did not use indoor pool as small and very crowded. Poor breakfast.
