Positive: Lovely old cottage with a modern new extension. Comfortable and had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen. Close to beaches, pubs, and coastal walks. Helpful friendly hosts.

Positive: A fantastic cottage with all the facilities you'll need. Spotlessly clean, and located in a quiet and peaceful rural location. Ideal for exploring this beautiful part of County Donegal. The owner, Breda, was superb; a lovely message before our arrival, and the most pleasant telephone call shortly after our arrival just to check if everything was OK...it was!

Positive: Everything! It was the most beautiful and cosy house to spend our few days, just wish it could have been a longer stay. Next time for sure. Just 5 minutes from the airport and the most stunning beach, absolutely breathtaking.

Positive: The bedroom layout of the property, the well-equipped open-plan kitchen area, plentiful hot water & central heating, plus the added cosy feature of the log burner fires, with a good supply of logs at the property. The helpfulness of Breda, Joe & Odhran. Having access to so many nearby beautiful beaches and Bonner’s Bar within a reasonable walking distance.

Negative: The access track from the main road. After heavy rain it wasn’t easy to see which of the puddles on the access track were hiding potholes, until you’d driven into them; some of the potholes were quite big/deep. The cattle grid below the track-side bedroom windows rattled more/louder from passing vehicles than the cattle grid nearer to the sports pitch, which seemed more solid. It would’ve only been a problem (for sleep disturbances) if the weather had been warmer than it was and you would have wanted to have bedroom windows open overnight (we didn’t).
