Extremely clean and cute!! Relax in a newly renovated boutique style beach cottage in Gobles Grove, Port Elgin, a small beach community in the popular town of Port Elgin. We are located directly across from the beach with a private path that we own, giving you direct access to a quiet, sandy beach that is a 30 second walk away. The beach is clean and has a walk in entry that is perfect for swimming and playing for children of all ages.
The decor of the cottage is modern and soothing and a perfect place to spend your holidays! It is equipped with everything that you need for your relaxing getaway and is perfect for couples or a single family. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances that you need including a coffee maker, toaster, kettle and a crockpot, among all of the regular kitchen essentials. You need it-it's there! There is an AC unit and ceiling fans to keep you cool on those hot summer nights and space heaters for those cool evenings. The bedrooms each have dressers and closets to store your belongings during your holidays (the pictures don't do the cottage justice!) :)
The cottage was recently renovated with new paint, light fixtures, mattresses, pillows, comforters, dishes, glasses, etc. It is decorated in crisp, clean, modern, cottage style with a soothing, relaxing colour palette. The cottage has everything that you need for a relaxing holiday in paradise! Just bring your clothes, towels and food and get ready to relax and enjoy our piece of paradise on Lake Huron!
Port Elgin is known for having clean beaches and water, beautiful sunsets and great shopping downtown. Go to the main beach on Wednesday to experience the flea market and Sunday night concerts. Minutes from Historic Southampton, with gorgeous beaches, a museum, famous bake shop, Jerry’s Fries and wonderful shopping. Tobermory, the caves and the ChiChiMon are an hour away while Sauble Beach and Owen Sound are 30 minutes away-there's so much to explore in the area! Enjoy a beach get away, swimming or boating on the quiet waters, fishing, watching sunsets, building sandcastles, exploring nature and walking along kilometers of sandy beaches-you won't be disappointed!

Summary: Very quaint old cottage that has been recently painted and has 2 new beds,comfy sofas ,small but well supplied kitchen.great private back yard with fire pit and barbecue ,table for 4.beautiful beach across the road. DVD player needs batteries in the remote and movies mainly for children.limited space,good for small groups only

Summary: It is a small but mighty cottage. I liked how close it was to the beach it made it easy to take the toddler out as the baby slept. It was a little chilly when the baby and us slept. The only comment might be to remove some furniture to make it slightly bigger. The floors have done dirt (even though cleaned) because of the nature of the cottage and how it is basically on the ground. I would definitely rent again with older children.

Summary: This is a great Little cabin. Everything you possibly need is here. Quiet area. Great cycling Right into MacGregor Point PP without a charge. Close to rail to trails. Private beach has a gradual entry into water. No TV. Wifi is sketchy because of where cottage is located (Bluewater). Not the owners fault. Was a lovely get away week. Will return.

Summary: Spent a wonderful week at Laura and Patrick's cottage. It was nice being so close to the beach so we could take our young children swimming anytime. All the comforts of home in the small space but spent most of it outside around firepit and dining areas. Very accommodating hosts and responsive when you need them. Couldn't be happier with overall experience - would stay here again!

Summary: The cottage is a vintage cabin decorated very nicely. But still small for big people. Very close to the beach if you want to stay all day. Cabin can get very hot. Everything is supplied for the kitchen plus nice dishes.
