Positive: Only one thing more stunning than the mountain and river view and that was the staff. I found a starving puppy at the beginning of the trail to the Camp-site. The state of this puppy was heartbreaking so I took a picture of it. As soon as I got to camp I spoke to Wisma the manager about the puppy and showed him a pic...within 10 minutes he organised a team to bring food and water to the puppy. Wayan who conducts the rice paddy walks help me catch the 2 puppies and even drove to the next town to get supply's for them. I eventually left with the pups and took them to the vet. Their story continues...The Camp-site views were spectacular, food was so fresh and the overall vibe was peaceful. Even the musician let me play and sing with his guitar. We stayed 2 night but wish we could of stayed longer...Jill Mandurah WA

Positive: This is our absolute favorite place in all of Bali! Natya River is glamping at its best – the rooms are designed like tents, small but with everything you need. The location is breathtaking: right by the river, surrounded by lush vegetation, and set in the middle of rice fields at the edge of a traditional Balinese village. The staff are simply amazing – so warm, welcoming, and helpful. The food is also excellent, fresh and full of flavor. We booked a guided rice field tour directly at the hotel (about two hours) which was very nice and gave us a real insight into the local area – highly recommended! We also rented scooters for a day to explore the surroundings, which was awesome. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic, and unforgettable Bali experience, this is the place. Actually, it’s my most favorite stay in Bali so far – and we can’t wait to return!

Negative: Having dinner right by the river is awesome, we prefer this without music. Our taste, the music was too loud, when we asked that they turned it down a little bit they did. But actually, I wonder why it needs music at all.

Positive: The beautiful nature, the lovely staff who truly look after you, and the peaceful atmosphere all come together to make the experience feel really special

Negative: Disappointing stay – felt more like a cheap hostel than a hotel The natural surroundings are beautiful, and the staff were kind and attentive—that was the highlight. But overall, the experience didn’t live up to expectations and definitely wasn’t worth the price. I’ve stayed in far better places in Bali for less. The facilities were underwhelming. The pool was very shallow—more like a puddle than a proper swimming pool—and the loungers were dirty. Music at the poolside was often too loud and didn’t suit the peaceful, nature-focused vibe the place is trying to create. The food was also a big letdown. On my first day, they were already out of several things I wanted to order, which wasn’t a great first impression. Unfortunately, the quality didn’t improve much throughout the stay. Since the location is so remote, I ended up eating there most nights simply because I had no other option. As a solo traveler without a scooter, getting to the city for meals or activities was difficult. The biggest disappointment was how far the reality was from the image. I had been wanting to stay here for years, but it felt more like a cheap hostel than the glamping hotel I expected. I definitely booked too many nights—one or two would have been enough. In the end, I found myself just waiting to move on to my next destination.

Positive: I’ve never been to such an incredible place in my entire life. The nature, the warmth of the locals, the outstanding service, and the view… What an absolutely breathtaking landscape. We were unsure about visiting Sidemen, but thank God we finally decided to come here. If you’re looking to escape the gentrification of Ubud and truly rest in the middle of nature, this is the perfect place to do it. Thank you to everyone who made this experience possible 🙏

Positive: Absolutely everything. I went there last year the first time and loved it as soon as I looked down from the lobby to the most beautiful place I have ever seen. The tents, the river, the food, the staff are absolutely amazing and I feel like home there. Thank you for everything. It's always sad to leave but I'll always be back.
