Summary: I had the very best stay at the National Hotel. The pool side area was one of the very best with the staff so attentive and kind. Truly couldn’t do enough for you. The hotel is quite quiet, very rare there were people in the bar itself. The best location in south beach, I was able to walk most places and so convenient. The rooms are a little tired and could maybe do with a slight upgrade as drawers etc were rather stiff but overall didn’t affect my stay. Next time I’m in Miami i’ll be making a beeline to this hotel

Summary: This is my favorite hotel in South Beach, and they upgraded me for some reason, which was such a special treat and unexpected but welcome as a returning customer. The pool and the beach loungers make this hotel 11/10 the poolside cabana was definitely better than my last room with the city view but any room here is a great room in my absolute favorite hotel.

Summary: Great time. Amazing staff aside from a nosey manager who scolded me for bringing my own white claw into the pool while I was trying to relax. I paid a lot of money for the hotel and it wasn’t glass. Do not interrupt my relaxing time like that, how about make sure I get the wine I was supposed to get at check in instead. All the other staff was so nice and so helpful. They need to fix the second elevator though because wait times were long and it got cramped. I gave 5 stars because the ocean view they upgraded us to couldn’t be beat. The staff other than the manager was amazing from the time we checked in, needed ice, ordered food and drink at the pool, and had pool or beach chairs setup. Appreciated the security staff allowing me to quietly lounge at the pool area after dark without bothering me and they gave recommendations. The location was perfect too. Liquor store across the street and Walgreens around the corner. Will strongly consider staying next time I’m at south beach.

Summary: We had a great stay at National Hotel. The pools looked welcoming and the adult-only property sounded peaceful so I decided to book. I wanted a balcony so I booked the cabana room. It was nice, but looks bigger in pictures. I did appreciate having the larger closet to store my belongings and keep the room clutter free. The bathroom was a bit smaller than expected and the shower probably could use a refresh. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and always had a smile. We never had a problem getting a chair at the pool, but it was Thursday and Friday so the weekend may be different. We appreciated the easy access to water outside by the pool on a hot day. Our room was so quiet, we didn’t hear any outside noise or hallway disturbances. Much appreciated! I would book here again
