Summary: Block island is a great place. The hotel is a little run down. No mirrors in bathroom. No WiFi. Little things make a difference.

Summary: Stayed in the main building with 3 adjoining rooms with private bathroom. Rooms were clean, comfortable, plenty of towels and each room has a sink and they provide soap, conditioner, etc. would stay here again! They also have coffee, water and muffins/fruit complimentary in the morning. Great spot

Summary: A great place to stay, no it's pretty basic, and not big on frills, but nice place, clean, and the staff does a good job.

Summary: This property is definitely a time capsule, and it was nice to slow down and remember how to relax. The front porch was a favorite spot, watching boats and goings on at the marina, and enjoying the natural AC from the ocean. The hotel was quiet, ice and water plentiful, and delicious muffins for breakfast. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had connecting rooms with a shared private bath, and the only dings I would give are for the condition of the sinks and shower. Each bedroom had a small corner sink which had some drainage issues, and by the looks of accumulated patches, the shower and sinks have been fixed MANY times. All in all would highly recommend - we had an incredibly relaxing weekend at a beautiful spot.

Summary: We’ve stayed at the Narragansett the past four years. We booked the same room we had prior (main hotel, private bath, harbor view). However, we were put in the annex, one of the guest houses on the property (no view and smaller rooms). We got a free breakfast and a bottle of wine for the mistake. It was a bummer but we don’t want to give a bad review. If you booked a specific room you might want to confirm before the trip as it appears some online reservation info was lost.
