Positive: Exceptional in every way, a royal palace with the most interesting art deco and art nouveau rooms and suites, beautiful furniture and art work including a blood red grand piano, lovely al fresco cafe/ bar / restaurant, a superb central courtyard, etc. The breakfast was superb further enhanced by the chef, Gatta Ram’s recommendations. He even concocted a cough remedy ( an aryuvedic hot toddy’ ) for my partner who had a sore throat. Other staff both in the restaurant and outside were always helpful without ever being intrusive. There is even a lovely hotel Golden Retriever!
