Summary: After reading some of the reviews online, I was a little uncertain as to the experience I should expect to have. However, I’m happy to say everything was perfect. My family and I very much enjoyed the resort. The beach is absolutely beautiful. The pools were heated, which was great given a bit of a cold front that came through. Every staff member I came in contact with was friendly, helpful, and eager to ensure we were having a great stay. Plenty of activities by the pool for kids. The hot tub in the adults only section was lovely. I can understand some of the reviews that suggest for a five star resort, the upkeep should be better. Rooms and common areas certainly have seen their fair share of wear and tear and carpets in the bedroom are in need of washing (or replacement). However, this is so minor compared to all of the great things about this resort, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, our room was perfect.
