Positive: It was all so beautiful. Very personal, small groups perfect, and the park rangers were of real added value. Nothing was too much trouble, and they really did their best to make it as pleasant as possible.

Positive: Truly the most incredible experience my husband and I have had. We booked this lodge last minute after the original lodge we had booked had to cancel due to flooding and we are so happy it worked out the way it did. The location of the lodge is relatively close to the airport and we saw an elephant and baby zebras on the drive in. The room was beautiful, food was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Our room was cleaned every morning while on the morning drive and we were treated with chocolates and a turn down service after returning from our evening drive. The chef was so impressive, you will never go hungry. Oupa and Excellence were our guide/spotter team and they are unbelievably talented. They found the big 5 within our first three game drives and focused on locating animals our group wanted to see the most. This place will exceed every expectation you have. We will definitely be coming back to this game lodge and I have recommended it to all my friends and family.

Positive: Very comfortable room, the rooms were refreshed twice daily. The food was really good and the game drives were fun. We ended up seeing 4 of the big 5 (missed the Buffalo), plus tons of other animals. Ops and Excellent did a great job at finding the animals.

Negative: Nothing really to not like. One thing that I was surprised about was that they charged for the sundowner cocktails. I thought I had heard that they were included.

Positive: Beyond exceptional from start to end. The game drives were fantastic and the guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we leave satisfied. The savannah itself is very raw and wild with not so many cars/lodges in there giving you a very authentic and non commercial experience. The facilities are really nice, comfortable and clean. The staff are on another level, extremely attentive, sweet and they truly make you feel like you're at home. Special mention to the chefs who spoiled us with great food and were very kind to check with each guest everyday if the menu was okay and if we wanted to change anything.

Positive: We visited Naledi during our honeymoon and everything about this lodge was just perfect. From the moment we arrived, we had the staff waiting for us with hot towels and drinks. The meals were exceptional with no detail spared and decorated just perfectly. Two 3hr game drives a day with very experienced and knowledgeable rangers. Staff would be waiting for us with hot towels and coolers after each game drive. We saw 4 of the big 5 on most days during our game drives plus other animals such as zebras, giraffes, hippos etc. On our last night, we had an elephant grazing in our backyard while we had dinner. This was so special and a memory we’ll never forget. The staff were beyond exceptional, always presenting themselves with a smile and super helpful. Naledi offers luxury in the jungle. Maximum number of guests at the lodge is 12 so it’s a super personal service. We can’t wait to visit again!

Positive: Staff are amazing, food was exceptional thank you Dudu for catering such amazing gluten free options for me DELISH! And making kid friendly options for the kids. Games drives where out of this world. Opa and Excellent are great at tracking and educating us. They included the kids, kept us all safe and found all the big 5 plus sooo many more. I loved all the little extras cleaning staff did resetting the room twice daily during game drives, tidy, make beds, open and close the blinds and even put the heater on for us when we got back after a cold morning. Welcome Fire burning, Drinks waiting and hot scented towels after game drives is such a nice touch. Angel and Lilliana are beautiful, kind and looked after all and any extra requests. The owners were lovely always welcoming us back after every drive and very accommodating. I was late for a game drives and the owner took me out to meet them on the track. He also brought us some batteries in town. The staff all seem happy and well looked after. Our family room was close to restaurant so kids could go to sleep nice and close to us, room was comfortable and clean. We loved spotting animals from the property that was a huge plus for me. Dancing and singing by the fire made our evening unforgettable!! So many little touches and thoughts put in to making the whole experience so special. Feeling so grateful!!

Negative: Can be hard to hear the information on game drives if in the back seat. Our driver would slow the car down to help us here but still struggled. Would be amazing if there was a small speaker or ear piece for those in the back but I’m not sure how they would work. Our driver was happy to repeat answers but could imagine that would get tiring.

Positive: Naledi is a hidden gem. A small number of rooms means you get a very personal experience. The guides are highly knowledgeable and whilst the lodge is not located in the main part of the Kruger National Park, we were able to see lots of game including big cats.
