Positive: Close to the Byzantine site. Quiet and pleasant village. An 8.5km hike to Panagia Lagadiotissa starts directly from the house. The comfortable house is perfect for families with two children, and the garden is pleasant. The host is very responsive and courteous. Don't hesitate to rent here.

Positive: Spacious apartment (especially the living room!) recently renovated with great amenities right in the center of Mystras. Very clean and well-maintained. Good communication from the staff (which we have never met).

Negative: The bedroom toward the street was rather noisy, not just because it is just a couple of meters from the busy road going to the archeological site, but also because of unidentified noises inside the house -- had to use ear plugs at night. The bathroom was very cold in April despite running the heater. The "garden" is not really a garden, but more a sterile-looking rectangular backyard with two old dying or dead mulberry trees and 3 orange trees. There were (unusual) additional “bed linen” “environmental” fees added subsequently, on top of the advertised price listed Booking.com. While that was not much (ca. 23 €/day), it it would have been more correct to include in the upfront price.

Positive: Fantastic location, super clean, modern and well appointed. Private garden is perfect for morning coffee and breakfast on the terrace overlooking orange and lemon trees. From the front, stunning view of the castle, village and mountain.

Negative: There is nothing that we didn't like!
