Positive: Very spacious and clean room with a beautiful view of the mountain and sunset. The facilities are amazing with a luxurious pool. The owner is extremely hospitable and friendly making it the best experience I’ve had in all of my travels. He’s very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about Sabah during my short stay. Will definitely come back.

Negative: Not many restaurants nearby. Not an easy walk into the city, but easy to order take away via Grab.

Positive: The welcome when we arrived, which carried on throughout our stay. The room was big and clean, with a shared balcony overlooking a beautiful garden. It was very peaceful just to sit. The swimming pool area was very relaxing. There was free tea, coffee and biscuits, and a lovely breakfast included. Teo and his family made us so welcome. He organised for us to go to Mount Silam which was great, and is very knowledgable. It's close to the airport, and a Grab ride into Lahad Datu.
