Positive: Location was brilliant - the staff were SO easy to contact and so responsive. Good layout and spacious.

Negative: The key didn’t turn the first time as the lock was jammed but the hosts came immediately and Even got a locksmith out to fix it then and there. The only thing that we weren’t sure on was the smell from the washing machine but then again plumbing can sometimes smell like that.

Positive: We loved the proximity to everything. We attended the Christmas markets which were only 15 minutes away. Xmas in Lille is beautiful.

Negative: The stairs. Too many narrow winding stairs. We also found when opening the main door from the street to the apartment stairwell there was a terrible sickening stench of possibly rotten fish from rubbish bins we could not see. The smell was putrid and it was there for the 3 days we stayed. The smell did not enter the apartment thankfully, . It was only at the main entrance to the building..
