Positive: Of all our safari experiences this lodge is consistently the best. The owners and staff are genuine and care deeply about their environment and the wildlife. Have you ever seen two lions stalk a waterbuck ? Well we now have. This was our second stay and will not be our last

Positive: We cannot even describe how great our stay was. The lodge is beautiful, the tents are huge and clean and so pretty. We had impalas in front of our private terrace, and even sure we missed elephants when we were out. Mike and Laura are such good hosts with great conversation at the dinner table and great care of their guest. Our rangers Damian and Mike were absolutely the best ! We saw so many animals, and they both have amazing tracking skills and knowledge of everything you find in the reserve, from plants to birds to animals and bugs. We learned so much during the game drives! We will definitely recommend staying there, thank you so much.

Positive: Unbelievable place, I loved it. Muweti is beautiful and well kept, but it also feels completely unpretentious. The location is so peaceful, and the staff are really friendly and genuinely care about their guests having a great stay. The fact it's a small lodge meant the service feels very personal - even though I travelled alone it was fun being in a group with the other guests and staff for the meals and safaris. Great communication as well before my stay to make sure dietary requirements etc were taken into account. Special thanks to Damian, your game drives - and ability to spot all kinds of creatures, even in the dark -are amazing!

Negative: Nothing - I had a fantastic time and didn't want to leave!

Positive: Mike and Laura were wonderful hosts and welcomed us like good friends . The game drive tour leaders, Hardup and Morven were amazing . Incredible knowledge of the animals, birds and topography of the park. We stayed four nights and saw everything we wanted to see and more . Thank you

Positive: Hardus was an excellent guide and very friendly. He went the extra mile. The tents have nice balconies with views.

Negative: We do not like to share one dinner and breakfast table with other guests as you have no privacy. The variety of drinks is very limited e.g only Muweti wine and no other brands. Unfortunately no variety for dinner - one meat dish with rice and no salads etc.

Positive: The best experience. Spent 12 days on safari over 5 lots of accommodation, some basic and some the top of the range and this was by far the best experience. Small beautiful in/keeping camp with only 3 luxury tents, and the staff were just great. And importantly, so were the animals. Animals at all times treated with respect by knowledgeable, cool, calm guides Hardus and Niel. It was simply the best. Great cooking too Hardus 🍖. Plenty of water holes around so you will see animals, close by too. Day and night. (Worth noting not all parks had water sources or they were dried up and so, naturally, the animals were elsewhere.)

The place is enchanting, and having the opportunity to sleep while witnessing the spectacle of nature, with animals coming to the waterholes to quench their thirst, is incredible and moving.However, the real gem is the staff! A fantastic family that will pamper you from the first to the last moment, answering all your curiosities with expertise. The meals are expertly prepared, and Mike's barbecue around the fire is truly relaxing. The game drives are spectacular, with an intense and meticulous search, and they will do everything they can to show you the Big Five.Anyone wanting to have such an experience must come here.

Positive: My fiancée and I had 3 spectacular days at Muweti Lodge! Mike, Laura, Neil and staff are extraordinary people! The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, we felt as if we were at home or visiting our parents' house because the reception and care they showed us were exceptional! They truly care about each guest's well-being and how everyone is feeling. We have dietary restrictions. Every meal was served considering our restrictions. Regarding the lodge, the experience of being immersed in the savanna is indescribable! The room is very comfortable and spacious, with a comfy bed, a very nice bathroom, and a balcony with an amazing view. You can see some many animals from within the property! They provide game drives twice a day, and it was incredible. We saw many animals! On the game drives their focus is always on providing the best experience for the guests! The meals were very good and diverse! Every night a campfire was lit and all people at place had a good moments! We hope to return to Muweti soon! We are already recommending the place to everyone who asks us about our experiences in South Africa!
