Summary: The hotel was nice, but could use a little brush up, it looked a bit scruffy. The reception/ breakfast area was cozy and the breakfast was very good ( specially the coffee) The rooms are small even for Japan.

Summary: Lovely staff and great comfort in one of the nicest neighbourhoods in Tokyo! The bagel + coffee breakfast combo was a winner every morning, could recommend enough staying here!

Summary: A really great hotel in Shimokitazawa in a very quiet location. Lots of cafes around, and walkable to the trendy Shimokitazawa neighbourhood. I stayed for a week and the whole time it was very peaceful and comfortable. The staff were all excellent, and the on-site cafe has great coffee and bagels. The rooms are quite basic, but with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Summary: Great hotel, friendly staff in an area close to the centre of Tokyo but quieter and calmer-perfect for families visiting the city. Lots of amazing restaurants and stores nearby.

Summary: Fantastic location just above Shimokitazawa neighborhood. Rooms are small but efficient and comfortable. Read a few negative reviews about scuff marks on the walls etc. but we found the hotel very clean and having a café with bagels and coffee in the morning was perfect to start our day. The common areas awesome and used by people in the area, not just the tourist at the hotel.

Summary: Amazing place to stay for a couple who prefers a quiet neighborhood in Tokyo. This ended up being our favorite hotel during our 3 week stay in Japan. The place was super helpful and spoke great english. The coffee shop inside the hotel opens up early, which is pretty rare in Japan, and the quality of the coffee and food was great. We will most likely stay here again next Japan visit.
