Positive: Great spot, loved the rooms and view

Negative: Was unable to get any hot water in the shower even after letting run for a really long time so unable to shower. We were only there overnight so it didn't matter that much.

Positive: Little touches make a difference. Popcorn in the welcome area, water and chocolate as you check out! This gem of a hotel is right along the river, close to Rocky Mountain National Park. The bed was comfortable and the room cozy, with a balcony overlooking the river. Nothing fancy, but enjoyable, would definitely stay again! Muffins and coffee at breakfast were delicious!

Positive: We didn't arrive until well after the front desk closed and they were very accomodating to making sure we had access to our room. We also appreciated the extra sets of towels. The room was large and comfortable and we actually loved that the sink was outside the bathroom, making getting ready a breeze. The location was perfect for getting to downtown (easily walkable) and to RMNP.

Negative: The shower was a bit difficult to operate since the directions posted were not applicable to the type of shower we had in our room.

Positive: Very friendly staff at front desk. Hot tub and warm pool. Beautiful, calming stream. Free coffee and popcorn, Nice continental breakfast. Close to RMNP entrance! Visits from elk:) And close to downtown Estes Park.

Negative: Wifi reception in our room was NOT good. I was unable to connect with my iphone for more than a couple seconds maybe 5 times during the stay and had to use data. The other three with androids were able to connect for an hour here and there. It was very frustrating when trying to make travel plans and connect with people back home. We did bring this concern to staff who said they would try resetting the router. Not sure if they did or not- but wifi never improved. The last day I tried it in the breakfast room and it seemed to work there.

Summary: Beautiful, convenient location with friendly staff, nice breakfast, and a hot tub-but limited wifi:(
