Positive: We had the whole property for ourselves, so we enjoyed every aspect of it. The rooms are spacious, in the kitchen you find everyting you need, the garden is well mantained. The property is not close to the city, maybe 20-30 minutes by car, but we appreciated that. The area was really quiet, with no constructions in site. After a long day, with visiting and getting stack in traffic you really appreciate that. Also, the most comfortable beds ever! About staff, Gusman was really nice and really pacient with us, we appreciated it very much!

Negative: The cleaning could be improved. Otherwise everyting was perfect.

Positive: Beautifully designed stay in a lovely location amidst rice fields. The host is very friendly and really makes you feel at home. It’s only a 20-minute taxi to central Ubud (in the morning) but there are still plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby if you didn’t want to venture too far.

Positive: This place is a bit far from Ubud but it is a great base for trips. It has an amazing local vibe. Here you can feel the real local Bali, get to know the local community, which is very friendly, there is no commercialism and crowds here. Gusman who looks after the villa resort and guests is a wonderful person. He will tell you about local traditions and maybe take you to a lesser known place ;) he will make Balinese coffee, which he roasts at home. Beautiful, peaceful and clean place.

Positive: Villa Munay is at a very calm place. Not much tourists are around because its 30 minutes by scooter away from central Ubud. Since I traveled solo and i were the only Guest at this time I was very lucky because Gusman showed me a lot! He was very polite and just wanted the best experience for me! I have made unforgettable experiences and when I come back to Bali I will defenetly say Hello to Villa Munay again!! Highly recommended!

Positive: Really lovely for a quiet getaway with a few lovely restaurants within walking distance, villa was much larger than expected and the people looking after the facility were excellent They have a really nice cat too

Negative: Was a little bit far away from the city centre, however if you're looking to have some quiet relaxation it's well away from the hustle and bustle of ubud
