Positive: The cottage was clean and tidy for the weekend, ok for a short break, bed was very large which was nice, welcome pack was a nice touch, contact with owners was great.

Negative: Its advertised as pet friendly, which it really isnt as friendly as you would like, as there is no space for dogs to run even though the cottage is on the owners land and have a very large garden, on arrival in the information guide, there are rules and extra charges for cleaning if the animals are shedding. The cottage is also in the owners driveway, which is very overlooked by the main house and surrounding properties as getting in and out of the shower you can quite clearly be seen by the house opposite as no blind at the window, not a very comfortable stay as it felt like a gold fish bowl.

Positive: The location was super - with views out to a huge garden and pond. The cottage was sweet, with very comfortable sofa and everything we needed. Canadian geese landed in the pond one morning which was super cool. And walks up to Bredon Hill were perfect. There is a little patio attached to the cottage which was safe and secure for the dogs.

Negative: No ones fault, but there was a cockerel somewhere very close by who started crowing at 1-2am and didn't stop both nights we stayed... We wouldn't have minded if he started crowing at dawn but 1am is a little too early! The bed was a little bit uncomfortable, but that's personal preference. And a full length mirror in the bedroom would have been useful as I was getting ready to attend a family event.

Summary: A lovely little cottage in a beautiful area of the country.

Positive: Location was good for us to get to Cheltenham, but was also in a lovely rural quiet area. The cottage was a lovely size and very cosy. When we struggled to open the keysafe, Kate got in touch very quickly to help, even though it was my error.

Negative: We arrived in the evening, and an outside light would have been useful to see the keysafe and the front door. Also struggled with the shower. The pressure was a bit low and also veered in temperature wildly between absolutely freezing and boiling hot, but never found a mid point that was bearable.
