Surrounded by majestic trees and the sounds of birds, this cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway, a peaceful escape, or a place to stay if visiting the Dandenong Ranges.
It offers many features to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including a spacious corner spa for one or small cosy spa for two, Open fireplace with enough quality seasoned red gum firewood for an evening fire, queen sized bed with open ensuite in bedroom, smart TV with access to complimentary streaming services, reverse cycle heating and cooling, a small kitchenette with microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee pod machine, milk frother and a bar fridge.

Summary: We had a great time staying two nights in the Mulberry Cottage. We stayed the night of a family wedding nearby. Used the services of "Your Private Driver" as recommended by Maria. James, the driver was very friendly and provided excellent service.The following day we just wanted to chillout. Visited the local store and cakes were fantastic.Then we toured the many close-bay towns and walking locations we found. Closest tracks are described as located by going straight through the roundabout from the General store and a short walk to carpark and Picnic grounds on the left. Other locations we googled. The Mulberry Cottage was a great location for us. We also enjoyed observing the Rosellas (Not the same variety from home), and a couple of rabbits from the kitchen window. We did not meet Maria onsite, but Tony introduced himself and helped with a few questions we had. The addition of fly screens would be beneficial for the Cottage as would also, a Full-Length vertical mirror.

Summary: The 'House' was clean, tidy and well maintained. I stayed alone for two nights and for one person it was okay, for two ? I admit I can be quite critical, I found that I needed to stay in more than I wanted due to the weather, poetic licence was used in the property description, having to put the sink to the side does not make it one and a half bathrooms, no more than a tiny table against the wall is a seperate dining area. Visiters should also be made aware of the driveway if in a standard vehicle so that the suspension doesn't bottom out on entrance. Would I recommend ? No, so many better properties around at this price.

Summary: Nice property, lovely little cottage. Nice extras such as the robes, appreciated as it was cold weather. Fire was great and had back up heating with the split system. Hosts were responsive, we only have one suggestion, a sandwhich press to make toasties, by the fire 😊 We enjoyed our stay comfy bed, nice linen very clean, we will be back. Thank you

Summary: It’s a beautiful tranquil spot and extremely well maintained, with friendly advice about transport to areas, in the Mt Dandenong region. Would highly recommend a stay there.

Summary: It was an absolutely beautiful place to stay at. Had everything we needed. Clean, bed super comfortable, and a yummy fresh breakfast. The owner was so welcoming and accommodating. Couldnt fault it, high recommended and will definitely stay here again.
