Travel Purpose: business

Positive: We liked the apartment. It was more spacious than what we can perceive from the pictures. The heating was on point throughout our stay as we had some days where the weather outside reached -6 degress Celsius. The bathrooms were quite spacious and very modern. The kitchen had everything we needed for the basic day to day, with even good sized pots and pans. There were enough glass cups and mugs for the breakfast time. As it was basically two ensuite kind of rooms with one having the kitchen, the host really took advantage of space in a very creative and thoughtful manner. My family enjoyed it, even those who came to visit us were quite impressed with the amenities and warmth of the apartment. Even though there was a family downstairs (with adorable children) with the connection via the access stairs, we did not have any issues as we also tried to keep quiet when it was necessary. The kitchen sink area is just so perfect being stainless steel, we just loved it as it made cleaning very easy. Even though there was no smoke extractor, there was a window close to the cooking area which helped during cooking. There was bedding and towels readily available, which even though we did not really use, it was very good to see it was at our disposal. If we have a chance to visit again and this place is available, we would take it!

Negative: It would be a plus if there was more fridge/freezer space as a chest fridge/freezer was a bit challenging due to the Christmas period where food storage was required. The TV if upgraded would also be a plus as we could not cast a movie into it due to its limited properties. The apartment even though it was upstairs with a side door access, was actually never fully separate from the family downstairs as whenever we would enter or exit the door, we would see the jackets and shoes owned by the family downstairs. If there is a clearer demarcation between spaces would be helpful for privacy for both sides. It would be worth stating on the advert that the apartment is only on the 1st floor, so it very clear and expectations can be better managed. The door closure should be finished properly so it is clear it is no longer an access door since it was converted into the 2nd bathroom. If the recycling could be made clearer (I know there was 2 bins in the apartments with labels, however if it is also stated which colour bin it would go into outside as not all the guests would be familiar with the recycling style).

Summary: Way more spacious than expected and the host was very thoughtful on the overall apartment setup.
