Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. Enjoy a 60-minute scenic drive to Telluride Ski Resort for a full day of the top five runs in America according to Conde Nast. The town of Ouray has a wide variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, unique shops and Ouray Hot Springs.
A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Location is great, it's super comfortable, and VRC is great to rent with. We had a problem with the kitchen sink leaking, and it was repaired very quickly when we were out enjoying ourselves. Will absolutely stay here and use VRC again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is located next to the river, close to running trails and the Hot Springs. Town is a 10-15 minute walk away. The kitchen is well outfitted with supplies for cooking and clean. We did have a couple of problems with the property. First, the owner did not pay for the WiFi and the property management company was not able to reach her to pay the bill. Therefore, we were not able to access WiFi for the entire trip. They did refund us $250, but it was an inconvenience. Also, I am not sure why but all of us were experiencing allergy symptoms in the unit for the first several days. It improved after the temperature dropped and we aired the apartment out. Also the toilet seat is badly stained and should be replaced.

Summary: Super clean unit in the perfect location for exploring Ouray and the surrounding area. Short walk along the river path into town, great parking, full kitchen for cooking. Communication with property management team was easy, absolutely no issues. We would definitely stay in this unit, or other VRC properties, in the future.
