Summary: The pictures don’t do it justice. The views and location are spectacular, the beds are comfy and the house is very well appointed, as is the bunkhouse. It wears its history well, but has top line fixtures and the updated finishes only add to the grandeur of the place. Because of its location perched atop a granite outcropping, it feels like a chateau, but functions like a super comfortable bungalow, with kids games, TVs, a dedicated wine fridge, and a beautiful subzero refrigerator. Having both a standard 12-cup coffee maker and a modern quick response Keurig was ideal with 13 people of varying caffeination requirements. The outdoor gas fireplace is ideal to gather and gaze at the stars, share stories of daily adventures, and relax before bed. Which brings me to the main quirk, for which you’ll want to plan ahead. There are plenty of beds, but only two small bedrooms in the main have doors that offer a modicum of privacy. The upstairs master is a dream King bed room with a beautiful en-suite bath, but as it’s at the top of the stairs at the entry, there’s no bedroom door to shut, and hence no real privacy. Even so, this is definitely the best room, but bring earplugs, or you’ll be up with the first to awaken. The bunkhouse has a beautiful king, but is also in the same wide open space with two bunks and one twin. A bath, and laundry compliment the kitchenette. So if sharing space and divvying 3 baths, two kings, and countless twins, isn’t an issue, then you’re golden!

Summary: This cabin was perfect in every way! Quintessential mountain charm with modern conveniences, spotless and beautifully maintained. We loved the big table for meals and laughs, the relaxing patio, cozy gas fireplace, and fire pit. Super easy to find, close to everything in Estes, with gorgeous views. It was the ideal spot for our group of seven college friends to reconnect. Highly recommend!

Summary: We got together for a college reunion and wanted to be able to get into RMNP easily. The location is great. There were 12 of us, so sharing bathrooms and showers took some work. There are nice small rooms to sleep in and a few big beds. The bunkhouse is just like it sounds, a big room with beds, but also a small kitchen and bathroom. The main house has plenty of room to hang out in and a very well stocked kitchen. We loved the outdoor deck and gas fire pit space. It is an ideal space for a lot of people and we would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Summary: We had a special gathering for with our friends and enjoyed having access to the beautiful mountain side, a small gas fireplace for us to gather at night, beds for everyone and calm serene wilderness atmosphere. We would stay here again! Thank you for allowing us to use your space! You have a wonderful place.

Summary: Beautiful log cabin and bunk house. Mule deer and Elk all over the place. Great scenery and close to town

Summary: The house was spacious with incredible views!!! There was an abundance of linens, towels with an exceptionally well stocked kitchen. It would be extremely helpful to have a second trash bin or a separate recycle bin given all of the recyclables that we accumulated during the week. We did TWO recycle runs to the YMCA CENTER that we fortunately discovered. Having only two bathrooms in a home that can accommodate 9-10 guests was inconvenient….as well as for the bunk house if it had been full. The iron claw tub for showering needs to be replaced with a built-in shower to reduce the amount of water that escapes during showers.

Summary: Cabin is just great for a group outing. Close enough to town to be convenient but remote enough to feel like you’re alone in the mountains. Nice trail up to Sprague Lake close by too.

Summary: The cleaners were not done at 4 p.m., they did let us drop our items in the front room and put perishable food in the refrigerator. Not happy that we couldn't get in earlier as I had requested this several times due to having 3 children who could have napped a bit before a wedding celebration in down town Estes.
