Secluded Mountain Log Lodge in NM Sangre de Cristo Mountains-
Hand crafted lodge that has been a single family home, corporate retreat and hunting lodge over the last 50+ years. 3800+sq ft log lodge tucked into an aspen grove with year round creek right outside your window. Beautiful views from the front porch of snow capped mountains and western sunsets. Paint landscapes or just enjoy an evening beverage/cigar from the large covered porch. Enjoy Morning coffee in a rocking chair on the porch Watching the birds & listening to the Quaking Aspens!
Elk and other wild animals roam the 69 acre property.
A Single dog is allowed for a $50 fee per stay. Your dog should not be left unattended inside or outside of the lodge.
Beautiful Large stone fireplace in the living room with firewood to set the mood. Five bedrooms and one loft with a total of 13 beds. Three full bathrooms with showers. Propane heat and kitchen stove. Two dining tables with 16 seats. Washer and dryer. High speed internet and smart TV.
Settle into a card game on the poker table which is right next to the comforting wood stove. Compete in a game of pool. Bring your hammocks and take an afternoon nap in the aspen grove with babbling creek yards away.
Our Lodge is adjacent to Rio Costilla Park with endless hiking and fishing.
Red River, NM is about 35 miles away with great dining, shopping & year-round activities and Taos, NM about 45 miles away.
This is a great remote
get-a-way, family reunion, corporate/board retreat and secluded vacation destination.
Be aware since our lodge is very secluded we have 4 security cameras on each side of the lodge. The security cameras are OUTSIDE ONLY. There are no cameras inside the lodge.
Also,
Be aware that with the wild animals that frequent the property guests need to be very cautious and never approach or harass the wild life in any way and never leave small children or dogs alone outside the Lodge.
*Please note if requesting to book a holiday that falls on a Friday or a Monday, booking will require the adjacent weekend with the Holiday to be included in that reservation. **Christmas and New Years weeks require a 5 night minimum.

Summary: We had a great time with our family and friends which consisted of 3 parents and 9 people from 24 down to 14. We had pool tournaments and played lots of other games on the days that the ski slopes were to windy. The drive to the slopes was good as well we saw lots of new scenery that we don’t get to see in Arkansas. We drove to Red River 2 days and drove to Wolf Creek 2 days. We had plenty of room for everyone and still had 4 beds that were empty.

Summary: Absolutely loved staying in this cabin. The scenery was perfect. The pool table was a lot of fun. Lots of room and owners were very nice and responsive. I would definitely recommend this cabin and hope to stay here again to stay here again.

Summary: If you're thinking about booking the TC Lodge, do it immediately (just not before I can book our next year, lol). It could not have been more perfect. My wife and our 5 kids spent 6 days here and it is more incredible than pictures can possibly capture! Nestled in the side of the mountain surrounded by snow, a frozen stream, and a beautiful grove of aspens with a million dollar view. The cabin itself is enormous and beutifully decorated in rustic weatern decor and awesome antiques, and has tons of room and space for everyone to spread out. Its nicely furnished, and we enjoyed the fire, cooking and eating as a family, board games, poker with tbe older kids, and the pool table is in excellent condition and was a big hit. The hosts responded within minutes anytime we had a question or needed anything at all, were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and were ab absolute joy to interact and visit witb! We skiied Red River and has an easy peaceful 45 minute drive to the parking area each morning with great scenery along the way, and it gave the kids time to fully wake up (especially the teenagers, lol). The memories we made with our kiddos will last us all a lifetime, and we will be back for more! Thanks guys!

Summary: Beautiful, authentic cabin, in the Rockies. Accommodations were bountiful and comfortable. Easy to find. Roads are rough and activities are a LONG drive away. Closest fishing is 35 minutes, nearest grocery story is 45 minutes. You can walk the property, but hiking is quite away too. Truly away from it all, so do not forget anything you might need. But this is just what my family needed.

Summary: Beautiful area and wonderful property. Saw lots of wildlife. Enjoyed the week with family exploring Northern NM and Southern CO. Went on several hikes, highlight was Great Sand Dunes NP.
