The whole family will enjoy this beautiful custom built Lindal log home and it's unbelievable views. Located in the mountains above historic Andrews where you can find shopping and restaurants. Sit back on the deck or around the fire pit and gaze at the beautiful Smokies and rolling farmland. Everyone will enjoy a cooling dip in the large inground pool during the warmer months or a soak in the hot tub. Outdoor activities like boating, rafting, kayaking, fishing, and hiking are a short drive away. This large multilevel home with top-of-the-line appliances is perfect for families. Please note that the pool is open from April 15 through September 30, but it is not heated. Please note that we DO NOT allow pets A waiver must be signed for the pool and hot tub for all reservations. There is a Ring video and audio recording device at the main entry door/carport for security.

Summary: We had two families of 5 - six boys age 2-12. Pool and hot tub were perfect and basement was great. Rooms for adults very comfortable. WiFi not great so if you need to be connected not optimal but if that is not important great option. View is beautiful. Aga stove is unique so need to be open to cooking differently.

Summary: Hosts were incredibly accommodating and communicative. House has everything you need, besides the view which is what is needed most. Also, heard more about the negative pipe freezing review. They literally had to dig out a section of pipe to ensure it would unfreeze from well. All good now but it was after an incredible cold spell and just because air temperature or town is okay doesn't mean the pipes underground have thawed. Can't say enough good things. Hope to return

Summary: This house is in a nice and quiet area and you have plenty to do within the house. A group of us stayed for a birthday celebration and we had a good time. We forgot something’s and the host made sure to have everything you could possibly need. Overall it was a good place but there was some cons. The biggest one we endured was the amount of bugs we were bombarded with inside the home. Due to the amount of stink bugs the smell of it consumed the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Also for the amount was charged for cleaning and the great reviews on cleanliness we were slightly disappointed.The last issue that didn’t heavily affect us because we had a short stay was the AGA stove. If you plan on staying for a longer trip and want to cook I’d suggest doing some homework on the stove.

Summary: I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The views are unmatched, it’s very quiet and the property is really spacious yet cozy. It has everything you need there for a great vacation. I’m already planning to book another trip back! I would note that the internet was bad - you likely couldn’t work remotely from this location. And, the AC couldn’t keep up with the heat from the windows on warmer November days- it got up to 85 degrees inside when it was 85 outside, even with all the blinds drawn! Not sure if the AC is broken or if that’s how it always is. Still, this is a great place to stay. I’ve already recommended it to other friends and family, and we hope to return!

Summary: The house was roomy and had everything we needed and great views. Beds are comfortable! A quick ride to downtown Andrews or Murphy. The yard and neighborhood were pretty for a stroll! We enjoyed cutting some zinnias for the table. The only thing I would have like to have known ahead was the complexity of the Aga stove! Some other reviews mentioned it. We were only there 3 nights so not enough time to learn how to cook with it. Preheated the oven all day and dinner still wasn’t done. I would bring a toaster oven and crockpots if I would have known. It’s beautiful but not practical for trying to make cooking easy while on vacation.

Summary: Our family was looking for a quiet, low key, end of summer vacation - and that is exactly what we found here. The house had spectacular views, a grill, full kitchen, comfy beds, and a large pool. The owners/property manager would friendly and helpful.

Summary: Loved this property. It was easy to get to and close to essential shopping, restaurants, things to do, etc. yet very private. Communication with the property manager was extremely timely and effective. We enjoyed the pool. The scenery was peaceful and relaxing for the most part. The adjacent airport is closer than I thought and on the occasional take off and landing, interfered with the serenity of the surroundings...especially the helicopters. After pool maintenance serviced the pool, it became cloudy and greenish. However, to be fair, I did not report it since it happened at the end of our stay and rainy weather was predicted. At first I was not happy about the AGA stove because you have to preheat it for 8 hrs before using the ovens. But after a little experimenting, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The kitchen was well equipped and a great family gathering place. Furniture was plentiful and comfortable. As the property manager states, don't plan to be plugged in on this vacation. Internet can be slow at certain times of the day. Overall, wonderful property! Would definitely stay again.
