Positive: Nice kitchen with all needed appliances. We loved having a grill and fire pit out back was a fun way to hang out in the evening. We spent several lazy afternoons enjoying the sheepskin rugs and comfy sofas. Location was nice, the sound of the river at night was beautiful. I would have liked a view of Shadow Mountain Lake, but for price and availability in Grand Lake/Granby region in was great. Great stack of books to cozy up with. I read The Secret Life of Bees (10/10) and also Ree Drummond "Pioneer Woman"'s book "From Black Heels to Tractor Wheels" (2/10). Rummond seriously referred to her beau/husband as "Marlboro Man" throughout as if that's a real thing. I think she's a shill for an imaginary cowboy ethos designed to sell cigarettes and push a vision of America that never existed. I digress, my point is that I enjoyed the wide selection of books and I'm a fast reader on lazy holiday so nothing wasted really.
Negative: The door lock code was ridiculous and took us literally 10 attempts to get into the house. Subsequent attempts to unlock door with the TEN DIGIT code did not work. For security and convenience reasons host should replace with shorter code and/or sending a rep to test the lock and fine tune the instructions for how this particular lock works. There was no deadbolt to twist as the instructions indicated. Else guests will choose to leave the home unlocked. Pillows in master bedroom should be replaced, and if you choose to supply king sized pillows they should be covered with king sized pillow cases. Master bath toilet runs sometimes, I had to shut off the water to it one evening as I couldn't get it to stop.
Summary: Relaxing home base for fun in Grand Lake area

Positive: Kitchen was very well stocked .
Negative: Only thing lacking was there were not any paper towels or napkins. We got there at dinner time and had to use Kleenex as napkins for our dinner that first night.
Summary: Great place.

Positive: The view - the spaciousness - ease of using house amenities (wifi, tv, kitchen appliances, etc), how quiet the area was.
Negative: A bit of an odd layout - since there were 3 girls we just shared the master. The coffee maker didn't work - we notified right away, but nothing ever resolved. Had to drive 15 minutes into town for it.
Summary: Nice quiet stay for a girls getaway
