The cabin has four bedrooms with two baths both bathrooms are downstairs inside the bedroom entrance area.The Living room, Dining room, Kitchen are all located on the same floor with a open concept. its great for
anyone that does not want to climb steps and the upstairs is great for extra guest with over four people staying. There's two bedrooms upstairs with three beds and two of them are in the same room the full size and twin are located in the same room and the new king size bed has a new memory foam mattress and new comforter and pillows in the same room also a 48 inxh flat screen TV with a 360 Xbox and a PS3 game system also in the same room. All beds upstairs are in a open concept with no doors separately the sleeping area.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay here. The view was beautiful with the waterfall next to the deck. The host was very nice and communication was great. We could not figure out the fireplace and he came over to fix it. Also we locked ourselves out and he helped us quickly. The only thing was beds. Our 3 boys loved the upstairs with 3 beds and the openness but the downstairs only had 2 fulls which was not the best for my husband and I. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Summary: We loved this quaint cabin. Our family of 7 (two adults and 5 children) had plenty of room. The host was responsive and courteous. We would stay again.

Summary: We had an amazing time in this home! The peacefulness, the breeze blowing through the trees, the thunderstorm, the birds, deer, etc. We met my husbandsfamily there that he had not see in 24 years. Wonderful memories were made and Mr Jack made everything wonderful. He made sure our stay was above and beyond anything we expected. The downstairs rooms are small but very cozy, which we love! We loved the rustic feel and warmth of this home. You have everything you need in the kitchen. All the linens you could ever need are provided. The sweet kitty that always came to say hello and welcome us. We closed out our stay by making smores in the Gazebo covered Firepit. It was so cold and it just made it that much better. We all laughed and shared beautiful memories. My husband and kids had a great time exploring the creekside and the woods. We hope to spend many more vacations at this cozy home by the creek.

Summary: We didn't stay at the cabin alot , but listing says sleeps 7 I believe it could easily sleep 9, the firepit in the gazebo was awesome, having the view over looking the creek and being able to hear the creek at all times was so peaceful it was quiet clean had everything you'd need dish and utensils also like foil ECT. Only thing I will say is the stairway leading to the bedroom upstairs are narrow, it was a little weird the king bed was up there and not in the back bedroom on the main floor and all having to share bathrooms that the entrances you have to go through someone's room to use was a little different but overall an amazing time....

Summary: Low ceilings, narrow stairwell, choppy rooms, tiny tiny bathrooms, sloping floors, tired and worn kitchen cabinets, very dark, weeds obscure waterfall view. Very disappointing

Summary: The property was intriguing due to the uniqueness. There were many settings in which one could chat with others or find solitude. The children who visited us loved playing in the creek that trickled right at the foot of the cabin. Porches from all sides allowed safe walk arounds with different views. The nights sounds of the creek lulled us to full nights sleep. The mountain area kept everything cool but upstairs does get a bit warm and stuffy. (they do have a window air conditioner and fan there to help) If you stay here, expect rustic and you will like it. Parking was easy as compared to some mtn cabins we have stayed at.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this great cabin in Roan Mountain. The high elevation was nice to keep it cool during our trip in July and a welcome change from the Florida heat. Summary: This cabin was exactly what these city folks were looking for in the mountains of Tennessee! It really had the feeling of going to Grandma’s house. It is apparent that the property is loved, and taken care of. Everything was cozy and easy to find and use. The host Jack was an amazing resource for us. He gave us several options of places to go visit. Places we could drive and places we could walk. It is a neat cabin for getting away from the hustle and bustle of things, but yet only being about 20 minutes away from civilization. The state park where it is located is beautiful and all the neighbors that drove by were friendly. I think our favorite part was the large fire pit where we could all gather even when we had a rainy day we could still be together outside enjoying nature. We will be back!
