Our recently built cottage sits on our 35 acre family farm over looking the stunning Preminghana (Mount Cameron West) & Anne Bay in beautiful Marrawah Tasmania. The beach is only a 5 minute walk down the road.
Marrawah is situated 51 Kilometres west of Smithton and only an hours drive from Stanley.
The Marrawah Inn is conveniently only a 5 min drive where you can get a great meal 7 days per week.
Marrawah, Tasmania’s westernmost community sits on the gateway to the Tarkine. To the north is the historic property of Woolnorth & Cape Grim. Tours are offered of this historic property, click here for further details.
To the south, is the Arthur River cruises. They offer 2 cruise boats that meander up the stunning Arthur River. Click here to make a booking or for more details. Summary: Ours is a return visit to Mount View. We wanted to come back for a longer stay. The house and its location are superb. We enjoyed the peacefulness and remoteness of the landscape and the home is 11 out of 10. It is full of generosity, quality and thoughtfulness from the design to all the appliances and provisions that make your stay easy and enjoyable. Sunrise is worth getting up for and ever changing --- from the mist on the sea to the hillock in front with the cows standing on top. A magical landscape and Mount View is a creative sanctuary within it.

Summary: Mount View is a triumph - congratulations to the owners. Brilliant accommodation in every regard. Wonderful: house, decor, facilities, view and location. Top notch communication. A kitchen with every ingredient and equipment you could desire. A lovely garden area where you can take a bath under the stars. Wonderful Inn up the road that has great meals for every budget - from Wagu steak to fish and chips. Do yourself a great favour and make this a base or stop off point for exploring the Tarkine and beyond.

Summary: I stayed for a week in this wonderful beachside accommodation. The cottage is exceptionally well equipped and wonderfully decorated. It has a lovely view out over Green Point beach and it is set in a peaceful farm surround. The cottage is very new and was extremely clean. Stuart is a wonderful host and for a couple or a single person wanting an escape to a great wilderness area it is certainly the best cottage in Australia I have rented.
