Positive: The location of this property is outstanding. I was blown away by the beauty surrounding everything there. The shared kitchen was well equipped. The bed was super comfy. The owner was great. I just wish I had had a bike.

Negative: My only complaint was the hours of weed whacking that disturbed the peaceful surroundings. The huts do not have parking near them so hauling my stuff up the hill was exercise but the location and view more than made up for it. I would stay there for a week in the future.

Summary: Most beautiful location. Well worth the trek.

Positive: Staying here for 3 nights was truly worth every penny. The view was breathtaking, and I didn’t mind the 45-minute drive from the main road to reach this amazing spot. The facilities were excellent, with everything I needed provided. Our generous host even moved us from the huts to the shears(complete with an indoor kitchen and bathroom) knowing it was going to snow tomorrow, such a thoughtful gesture! I’d say this is the best place I’ve experienced so far in New Zealand, with some of the most incredible views. We will definitely come again!

Negative: Everything’s great as it is, but if I could suggest one thing, adding a dryer would make it even more awesome!

Positive: It was easy to find especially with clear directions from Alana. I got hike and the place was just serene. Alana was a lovely host and made an incredible effort to say more than just hello. Would absolutely come again and tag my hubby along for sure!
