Positive: Our host, Emmanuel, was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was simple yet delicious. The room was different to what we expected, for example, no television, but this was a nice break to the everyday.

Negative: I didn't like that the toilet was shared and a bit of a walk from the room we stayed in. It was balanced, however, by having a sink and shower in the room.

Summary: A beautiful, simple and quiet accommodation in the most idyllic French village.

Positive: It was a nice cool temperature because it is an old stone building. Multiple bathrooms : en-suite and separate. Plenty of space for 5 people. Good to stay in a historic venue. Loved the tour of the mill by Emmanuel (in excellent English) - fascinating to see and hear how the business uses traditional methods of manufacturing. Has a great water wheel. Very quiet and peaceful and not far off the autoroute.

Negative: No freezer compartment in the fridge for ccol bag ice blocks. Only a curtain separating 3rd bedroom from the living room meant socialising had to move to the kitchen when people were trying to sleep

Positive: Emmanuel is an amazing host. He was always available, very friendly and knowledgeable about the global economy. We enjoyed talking with him. He also gave us a tour of his many facilities and businesses. It is one of our favorites and a must stay in all of France along the Via Francigena.

Positive: This was the highlight of our Via Francigena. Emmanuel and Annette made our overnight stay the most memorable experience. Everything was amazing. From the welcoming, the evening meal, the tour of the mill, this beautiful property is amazing.
