Positive: The room we had this time was nice, The Spencer Suite. Great view and good size. Good breakfast.

Negative: There isn’t a lift which means carrying cases/prams upstairs.

Positive: Great location and great staff very clean

Negative: Spa usage - We stayed 2 nights Friday/Saturday and we had used the spa on the Friday evening briefly and spent Saturday out of the hotel as we had prior plans. So we was intending to use the spa on Sunday morning however when we turned up to the spa on Sunday we were told we had to pay £60pp rather than £20pp which we payed Friday as we were staying over. This left us a little disappointed considering we didn’t get to use the spa again properly before going home and didn’t get to make use of it on Saturday as we was out of the area.

Positive: Location and spa

Negative: Room 422 was noisy , in contecting door creached all night , windows have seen better days and could hear the wind / rain outside. Room ceiling had crayons marks on it - you would have expected this should have resolved. Bathroom outdated. Resturant is way over priced and has had the same menu for 4 years

Positive: I liked the service and the place itself looked amazing

Negative: Few very small issues, a bit dusty in places and hairs in the bath. The room I stayed in and the stair case leading to it could do with a lick of paint, but the bed was clean and very comfortable and overall we had a nice night away from home
