Positive: The lodge was well set out and clean and offered all the necessary comforts. The host was very friendly and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. This was important because it rained the entire weekend, and hence we were unable to go on game drives or explore our surrounds much. The spa treatment was lovely.

Negative: The weather limited us fully experiencing what Mothopo had to offer, but that is beyond anyone's control.

Summary: Overall, we had an enjoyable stay, but disappointed that the weather put a dampener on things!

Positive: Amazing host! Beautiful bushveld with mountain views. The lodge is part of a working farm with cattle, buffalo's, etc. You cannot ask for a better weekend away. You feel part of it all and I was sad to leave.

Summary: An value for money experience that I will not soon forget and go back to.

Positive: Friendly people, who will go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable, happy and at home. I have never experienced such good service at any accommodation like we did at Mothopo Game Lodge. The facilities were neat and clean and it felt like home away from home. Nothing was too much to ask and they even arranged special picnic for my husband's 50th birthday. We will definitely be back.

Negative: There was nothing that I didn't like.
