Negative: As 2 handicapped persons, it was hard to access the entrance. The lighting in the room was not good. It was all motion activated which was very aggravating. The hotel was undergoing renovations, so it also added to the aggravating stay.

Negative: The room smelled of cigarettes and weed. Multiple people with dogs within the motel. Came across some strange characters around/in the motel. There was a family literally moving out of the motel at 9:30am, into a U-Haul. It felt like staying in the Twilight Zone and I didn’t get a great night’s rest.

Summary: The staff was friendly and location was good but outside of that, you’ll get what you pay for.

Positive: I got exactly what I paid for. I was not expecting anything fancy and that's exactly what I got. It was close to the Navy base and I was there for my son's graduation. We did not spend time in the room besides to sleep, so it really worked out for us. The fridge was cold, the shower was hot and the bed was fine. The staff was friendly. It is under construction but that didn't affect us in any way. If you're looking for something so you can go celebrate your sailor, it works and is budget friendly.
