Positive: We absolutely loved our stay at the workshop. It is furnished to a very high standard with some lovely touches such as a welcome drink,fancy soap, books,mezzanine etc. The sofa and log fire make it very cosy. There is a swim and sauna out the back of the property which we loved too. There’s a lovely outdoor space and the surroundings are amazing. I couldn’t recommend it enough and it was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The hosts were helpful without being intrusive. Fantastic place!!

Negative: Too far to travel to get evening dinner. Castletownbere was the nearest open restaurant 20 km away at night and in the dark. I would have loved to have been able to stay at Mossies for the evening by the lovely warm fire but instead I had to go out into the cold and drive (return trip) for an hour to eat some nice local seafood etc. There was a cheeseboard on offer but this was St Valentine’s weekend and we wanted to celebrate.

Summary: Very nice B&B but too remote unless a better meal offering is available

Positive: We stayed in Hanno’s workshop and it was perfect! Everything was fantastic from the G&T welcome drink to the eggs and milk waiting for us to the stunning furnishings and the peaceful outside areas! We loved it and it was the perfect place to celebrate my husband’s 30th birthday and relax !! We can’t wait to be back next year! Vanessa and Matti - you have created a magical spot 🤍

Positive: Breakfast was so good and freshly cooked .Mattie was an excellent host. Beds were very comfortable and the place had a relaxing and peaceful ambience with a lovely garden and wooded area .If time had permitted we would have used the Sauna .
