Positive: The cottage had plenty of room for our family of 3. The kitchen was adequately equipped. Even though it added a little bit more travel time to our adventures around the Golden Circle and south coast, we loved the location and peacefulness. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax each night.

Negative: The sulfur smell from the hot water in the kitchen and shower was overwhelming at times. We would have liked more pillows.

Summary: Restful home base for our week of adventure!

Positive: This is the way life should be— a cozy house with the TV on, comfortable beds, and a heated jacuzzi. I’m amazed we found this place at such a reasonable price. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Iceland. So far the best! If I could, I would give 102 out of 100, if they had washing machine and dryer, I would give 105!
