Positive: Our room was spacious and very comfortable for our short one-night stay. The check-in staff was very kind and helpful, and the wifi worked well. The parking lot across the street was convenient, and there are lots of cafes/stores nearby.

Negative: The room wasn't very well insulated from the noise in the beer garden below (though once the music cut off at 10pm it was much better), so this wouldn't be ideal for those with kids and/or who like a quiet early evening.

Positive: We stayed in the Roger Heffernan Suite, Room 22. 3 rooms, almost a flat. It opened into a small kitchenette room with great bench space, a microwave oven and a sink. We set up our small fridge/freezer, toasted sandwich maker and electric jug in this room. The next room was the master bedroom with decent ensuite. The room was big, breezy and super comfortable. It overlooked the beer garden but wasn't all that noisy at all. It was all very clean and a little posh and back in the day this room would have been quite exquisite, still is really. Great value and we would 100% stay here again, awesome.

Negative: Bed could have been just a bit firmer, I suppose, maybe a bit of noise from the garden area, but not too bad and our shower head was broken. However, when we told staff about it, the response was fantastic, it was fully replaced within half an hour. The service was pretty outstanding to be honest. It was hard to dislike anything.

Summary: Wow, way beyond what I was expecting for basically, a room in a Pub. It was a sweet SUITE!

Positive: From the communication prior to my arrival to my departure, my stay was fantastic. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff, a really cute room and the facilities were always clean and the bed was very comfy. Thanks for the hospitality. Cheers
